Answer- Solar energy is a renewable, inexhaustible, and affordable form of energy. It can be used to cook food, heat water, and generate electricity. Furthermore, the electrical energy generated by solar energy can be stored in solar cells.
Do this: Take two pots filled with soil. Put a bean seed in each pot. Keep one pot in a place with sunlight and another pot in a dark corner. Water the pots daily. Observe the changes after fifteen days. Record what you have observed.
Answer- In a pot placed in a sunny place, bean seeds germinate well and grow into a plant. But plants do not grow in a pot kept in darkness. What we know from this is that plants need sunlight along with water to grow well.

Answer- When strong winds blow, the topsoil along with the organic matter is carried away by the wind. This happens more often when the land is not covered with grass or plants. Such conditions are very common in desert and semi-desert regions where strong winds blow very frequently.
2 When there is water current after rain. The following measures are taken to preserve the topsoil from erosion. Observe the pictures. Note down what you have learned.
